Sofa Factory Supervisor

About the Role

Al Rugaib is seeking a Sofa Factory Supervisor to oversee daily production activities in Dammam and Al Khobar. This full-time role involves supervising workers and monitoring production lines to ensure sofas and upholstered furniture are manufactured according to quality standards and delivery schedules. The supervisor acts as a key link between factory management and workshop employees, ensuring efficient workflow and proper resource utilization.

Role Overview

The Sofa Factory Supervisor is responsible for the operational efficiency and quality control within the sofa and upholstered furniture production environment. This position requires a proactive approach to managing production processes, coordinating materials, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all stages of sofa manufacturing, including wooden frame construction, foam cutting and preparation, fabric cutting, sewing, upholstery, and final assembly.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet approved specifications and quality standards, identifying defects in upholstery, stitching, dimensions, and finishing.
• Assign daily tasks to technicians, carpenters, sewing operators, and upholsterers, and monitor attendance and productivity to maintain efficient operations.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure the availability of wood, fabrics, leather, foam, and other materials before production begins, preventing delays and production stoppages.
• Ensure that production equipment, including industrial cutting machines, sewing machines, and pneumatic staplers, is maintained properly and operated safely.
• Track daily production targets, identify operational issues, and take corrective action to minimize delays and improve productivity.
• Communicate production requirements to workers and report progress, quality issues, and operational challenges to factory management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 3-5 years of previous experience supervising a sofa or upholstered furniture production line.
• Knowledge of production planning, material utilization, and quality control procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam and Al Khobar, requiring on-site supervision of factory production lines and direct interaction with production teams and management.
