About the Role

H. M. Al Rugaib & Sons Trading is seeking a skilled System & Network Administrator to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in managing and maintaining diverse IT infrastructures and systems across multiple locations.

Network Infrastructure Management

• Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, VLANs, and firewall environments across multiple locations.
• Maintain Cisco core switching infrastructure, VLAN configurations, routing, and enterprise network connectivity.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Ubiquiti wireless access points across multiple retail locations, ensuring secure and reliable Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Coordinate internet connectivity installations with service providers and resolve connectivity issues to minimize operational downtime.

Cloud and Server Administration

• Administer Microsoft Azure cloud services, including Virtual Machines, Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access policies, Azure Backup, Azure Bastion, Log Analytics, and overall cloud security.
• Manage Veeam Backup & Replication solutions for on-premises servers, ensuring data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Administer private cloud infrastructure, including Windows Server, Linux Server, and virtualization platforms (Hypervisors).
• Administer on-premises Microsoft SQL Server databases, including backup strategies, performance monitoring, and security management.

Security and Access Management

• Configure and maintain FortiGate and FortiWeb solutions for network security, web application protection, VPNs, traffic management, and threat prevention.
• Manage Sophos Firewall features, including SD-WAN, Load Balancing, Web Protection, VPNs, and advanced security policies.
• Administer Active Directory across 20+ sites supporting over 300 users and devices, including user management, Group Policy administration, access control, and software deployment.
• Manage Google Workspace administration, including user provisioning, email services, security policies, and compliance with industry best practices.
• Implement email security controls, including spam filtering, phishing protection, and secure email policies.
• Conduct cybersecurity awareness training and phishing simulation campaigns to improve organizational security posture.
• Ensure IT infrastructure compliance with Saudi Aramco Cybersecurity Compliance Certificate (CCC) requirements.
• Administer Microsoft Dynamics 365 security by designing and implementing custom security roles that minimize licensing costs while enforcing the principle of least privilege.

IT Operations and Support

• Manage DNS services to ensure reliable name resolution and optimal network performance.
• Manage Avaya PBX systems to ensure reliable internal and external voice communications across multiple branches.
• Manage surveillance (CCTV) systems across retail branches, ensuring continuous monitoring and system availability.
• Manage the organization’s IT asset lifecycle, including procurement, inventory tracking, asset allocation, maintenance, warranty management, software licensing, and secure disposal to ensure accountability and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Azure, server, firewall, networking, and infrastructure issues to maintain high availability and business continuity.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven experience in system and network administration.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, VLANs, firewalls).
• Proficiency in administering Microsoft Azure cloud services, Windows/Linux Servers, and virtualization platforms.
• Experience with network security solutions such as FortiGate, FortiWeb, and Sophos Firewall.
• Strong background in Active Directory, Google Workspace, and email security management.
• Familiarity with IT asset lifecycle management and compliance requirements, including Saudi Aramco CCC.
