About the Technical Sales Manager Role
Siemens is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to join its Smart Infrastructure, Electrical Products department in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on maximizing market presence for Low Voltage (LV) electrical products within the Middle East region.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be instrumental in driving sales performance and market penetration for Siemens' LV Electrical Products portfolio, including circuit breakers, switches, and motor feeders. You will be responsible for achieving assigned sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across various sales channels and developing a comprehensive understanding of the LV market, including segments, potentials, pricing, competitors, and applications.
- Maximize market exploitation for the LV Electrical Products portfolio.
- Achieve sales KPIs assigned to different sales channels.
- Develop and maintain an updated knowledge base on LV market segments, potentials, pricing, competitors, and applications.
- Support product marketing activities to meet market expectations.
- Provide competitive edges for the product portfolio.
- Support logistics and back-office teams in order processing and execution.
- Establish productive relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts.
- Proactively assess and validate partner account needs.
- Support and drive new product launches for control and power distribution applications.
- Conduct quantitative analysis to determine market size and share, maintaining the database regularly.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence to identify industry trends, competitive dynamics, and customer requirements.
- Build and develop sustainable relationships with Consultants, Contractors, Developers, and End Users, promoting Siemens' visibility.
- Actively drive projects with all stakeholders throughout the sales process.
- Develop project pipelines and ensure the right selection and solution.
- Provide technical expertise on customer application requirements, specify optimized Siemens solutions, and educate partners and customers on technologies.
- Support customers in evaluating and defining Siemens products' technology and constraints.
- Increase market awareness through promotional events and roadshows.
- Plan and conduct technical product presentations, seminars, and customer workshops.
- Drive and secure required product approvals and prequalification.
- Support partners in product selection, systems configuration, and submittal preparation.
- Respond to daily sales and technical queries from partners and customers.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in similar roles encompassing sales, marketing, and technical support. Proven experience in channel partner business within low voltage, power, and control products is essential, as is professional experience in managing first and second-layer channel partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.

- Advanced technical knowledge of electrical networks and low voltage products and systems.
- Proven experience in channel partner business for low voltage, power, and control products.

Required Skills and Competencies
Strong presentation skills and market intelligence knowledge are required. The role demands critical and strategic thinking, coupled with high product and market analysis capabilities. The ability to work effectively within a team environment, both as a team player and leader, is also crucial. Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
