Wood (KSA) is seeking a TPE IV/Senior Site Structural Engineer to join its projects business. This full-time role is based in Al Khobar and involves contributing to the development of a new gold mine and processing facility located at a remote site in Saudi Arabia. The position requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in structural engineering within site-based project environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage structural and infrastructure works, including various building construction types, building design, equipment foundation design, and pipe and cable tray support design.
• Originate new engineering deliverables and revise existing ones.
• Review and check engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with company procedures, standards, and checklists.
• Supervise engineering work performed by junior team members.
• Participate in and conduct job-related training as required.
• Plan and complete work effectively within allocated man-hours, ensuring timely delivery.
• Interface, coordinate, and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and other team members.
• Delegate and distribute work, and manage the billability of the team.
• Coordinate with all relevant disciplines in the preparation and development of deliverables, ensuring the incorporation of other disciplines' input.
• Conduct site visits to verify conditions and perform markup drawings or as-built activities.
• Manage the submission of deliverables, including required quality checks and proper record management.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Conduct technical bid evaluations, vendor document reviews, and subcontract scope management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of proven field engineering experience in site-based or project environments.
• Strong understanding of engineering, construction, and field operations within industrial or mining projects.
• Full knowledge of Aramco, Sabic, Royal Commission, SBC, and HCIS standards.
