Application Electrical Engineer

About the Role

EvolveTalent is seeking an Application Electrical Engineer to join a client's team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role focuses on providing end-to-end techno-commercial support for cable channels, cable containment, and cable ladder solutions. The client is a global leader in electrical power management and critical infrastructure solutions.

Role Responsibilities

The Application Electrical Engineer will manage technical tasks from initial inquiry to project completion, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and international standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading tendering and Bill of Materials (BOM) activities for cable channel, cable containment, and cable ladder systems.
• Delivering accurate techno-commercial proposals, engineering drawings, and technical submittals tailored to customer specifications.
• Handling technical tasks for incoming purchase orders, from drawing preparation to converting designs into BOMs and releasing them for production.
• Reviewing customer RFQs, engineering drawings, and specifications to define project scope, ensure proper product positioning, and optimize costing.
• Collaborating with local assembly, manufacturing, operations, and quality departments to ensure smooth order execution, resolve technical queries, and drive process/product quality improvements.
• Coordinating with internal factories for special requirements or local assembly adaptations to meet unique customer needs.
• Communicating with the sales team to address inquiries promptly and ensure proposed offerings match end-user requirements and international standards.
• Preparing final project documentation in compliance with customer order documentation lists.
• Participating in cost-out projects and local material sourcing/localization initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of progressive engineering experience in tendering, applications engineering, or order execution, with a total experience range of 2-5 years.
• Industry Focus: Proven track record working with multinational companies across the EMEA region.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of end-user standards in the Data Center and Oil & Gas (Onshore/Offshore) sectors, including familiarity with entities such as ARAMCO, ADNOC, and ONGC.
