About the AR Accountant Role
Apex Industrial Services Co. is seeking an experienced AR Accountant to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time position is crucial for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate customer account records, and ensuring the smooth flow of financial operations related to accounts receivable.
Core Responsibilities
The AR Accountant will be responsible for a range of critical tasks to support the company's financial health. Key duties include:
- Preparing and issuing customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitoring customer accounts and proactively following up on outstanding payments.
- Reconciling accounts receivable transactions and customer statements to ensure accuracy.
- Recording incoming receipts and updating accounting records within ERP systems.
- Collaborating with sales and project teams to address billing inquiries and payment status.
- Generating aging reports and contributing to monthly financial closing procedures.
- Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies and customer payment issues.
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation and ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Assisting with internal and external audits and financial reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications
Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounting, or Finance operations.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and Accounts Receivable processes.
- Proven experience working with ERP systems.
Essential Skills
Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and reporting capabilities.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data.
- Effective communication and follow-up abilities to engage with clients and internal teams.
- A high degree of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Province.
