About the Accounts Receivable Accountant Role

ECEC East Consulting Engineering Company is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional dedicated to ensuring the timely collection of client payments through effective management of invoicing, outstanding payments, and accurate record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and record all financial transactions related to accounts receivable within the accounting system.
• Generate and issue client invoices accurately and promptly, ensuring compliance with terms, conditions, and tax regulations.
• Upload invoices to customer portals such as Etimad, SAP, and Oracle.
• Monitor project accounting, ensuring project costs are tracked and reported against budgets, and report on financial status to project managers.
• Process incoming payments and ensure accurate posting to customer accounts.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of customer accounts, resolving discrepancies and addressing payment issues.
• Oversee accounts receivable for project-based revenues, focusing on timely collection of outstanding payments.
• Maintain communication with clients to follow up on overdue invoices and resolve payment disputes.
• Prepare aging reports and contribute to strategies for reducing overdue accounts.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the CFO.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in accounts receivable or a comparable role.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves direct interaction with clients and internal project teams to manage financial transactions and ensure revenue collection.
