  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline, tracking progress and providing accurate forecasts to leadership.
  • Represent AWS Energy at regional industry events, conferences, and executive briefings across the Middle East.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5-10 years of experience within the energy industry, with direct exposure to operations such as drilling, control rooms, plant floors, or digital transformation programs.
  • Understanding of energy industry concepts including DCS, historians, OSDU, reservoir management, turnaround planning, and pipeline SCADA modernization.
  • Ability to operate autonomously, identify untapped opportunities, build a pipeline, and drive complex pursuits from initial conversation to signed deal.
  • Demonstrated industry credibility and a personal network to facilitate business development.
  • Experience working across account teams, ISVs, and systems integrators to shape solutions.

Team Environment

The AWS Energy team collaborates with companies to integrate cloud computing into the energy industry, aiming to accelerate digital transformation across the energy value chain. The team works with partners, customer account teams, and industry systems integrators to deliver outcomes for customers. This role is central to expanding AWS's presence with global refining, chemicals, and pipeline operators. The team values curiosity and problem-solving, and is committed to collaborative results.
