The Role of Occupational Health Specialist

Almarai is seeking an Occupational Health Specialist (Transport & Logistics) to join our team in Dammam. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are ready to contribute to a leading food and beverage company. The specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive Occupational Health (OH) solutions, including performing employee and workplace health assessments, reporting and escalating occupational conditions, and developing OH initiatives to benefit the division and the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Align, implement, and maintain an Occupational Health Service in accordance with divisional and group objectives.
• Maintain and analyze employee Occupational Health records, generating relevant statistics.
• Develop and implement Occupational Health-related training programs for managers, safety advisors, and other Almarai employees.
• Conduct health hazard identification, assessments, and surveillance of employees within their work environments.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• NEBOSH Diploma in Health and Safety.
• Fluency in English Language.
• Knowledge of an FMCG/Logistics environment.
• Ability to undertake a wide range of quality health assessments, interpret results, and provide suitable solutions.
• Experience in managing crisis and emergency situations at work.
