Environment Health Safety Lead

About the Role

TalentHive is partnering with a well-established Saudi group that is undergoing a significant transformation and investment in Saudi talent. We are seeking an experienced HSE Lead to join the organization in Dammam, Eastern Region. This is a full-time position within a large and operationally diverse environment.

Role Context and Impact

This visible HSE position focuses on strengthening the Health, Safety & Environment function. The HSE Lead will influence safety performance, enhance HSE governance, and collaborate closely with operational teams to foster a proactive safety culture. The role offers exposure to operational risk, performance improvement, and workforce engagement, providing an opportunity to make a direct impact on safety standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and standards.
• Monitor operational compliance with HSE requirements and internal controls.
• Conduct and oversee risk assessments, inspections, and audits.
• Identify hazards and ensure the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Support and lead incident and near-miss investigations.
• Monitor HSE performance, trends, and KPIs.
• Work closely with operational teams to strengthen safety awareness, ownership, and accountability.
• Support HSE training, toolbox talks, and workforce engagement initiatives.
• Maintain appropriate HSE documentation, reporting, and compliance records.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety performance, compliance, and risk reduction.
• Provide guidance and support to HSE Officers/Inspectors and operational stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as an HSE professional.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in Health, Safety & Environment.
• Ability to lead and support HSE initiatives within a complex operational environment.
• Strong understanding of HSE governance, operational risk, and performance improvement.
