We are seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee the day-to-day accounting activities of PIPECARE and its subsidiaries. You will report directly to the Regional Finance Manager and play a crucial role in our financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets, in accordance with IFRS standards.
  • Cost Accounting: Develop and maintain accurate cost accounting systems.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Create annual budgets and financial forecasts, collaborating with other departments for input.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and conduct periodic inventory counts to ensure accuracy in inventory valuation.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and internal policies.
  • Liaise with external auditors for documentation requirements.
  • Prepare timely financial statements and manage audits.
  • Analyze financial data and recommend improvements.

Skills and Experience Required:
  • BS Degree in Accounting or CPA certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, or Contracting sectors.
  • Experience with payments, collections, and invoicing control.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform activities in a refinery environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
