About the Role

Hays is seeking a GRC Consultant to join their team in Dhahran, Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This is a contract position focused on supporting cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance activities within an organization. The role requires a professional with experience in implementing security frameworks, conducting risk assessments, and managing compliance programs.

Role Overview

The GRC Consultant will be instrumental in ensuring the organization's adherence to cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements. This involves a comprehensive approach to managing information security policies, conducting assessments, and supporting audit processes to maintain a robust security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and track remediation plans.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory and security framework requirements.
• Support internal and external audits and manage audit findings.
• Track and report security risks, control effectiveness, and compliance status.
• Perform third-party/vendor risk assessments.
• Drive awareness and adherence to governance and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with security, IT, and business teams to ensure control implementation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in GRC or a related cybersecurity field.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing security frameworks.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments effectively.
• Experience in managing compliance programs and supporting audit processes.
