Perfect Vision specializes in connected telematics hardware and comprehensive fleet management platform provision. We are seeking an IoT Engineer to join our team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience, offering an opportunity to contribute to the core of our operations.

Role Purpose and Contribution

As an IoT Engineer, you will serve as the crucial link between our telematics devices deployed in the field and the platform that transforms their data into actionable insights. Your primary responsibility will involve designing robust systems for thousands of devices to connect, authenticate, provision, and stream data reliably and securely. This includes developing the essential connectivity layer, data pipelines, and fleet-management tooling necessary to maintain the health and scalability of our connected infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and operate the device-to-cloud connectivity layer, utilizing technologies such as MQTT and cloud IoT services (*, AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, or equivalents).
• Develop workflows for device provisioning, identity management, and lifecycle/fleet-management for large-scale device populations.
• Construct ingestion pipelines and data processing mechanisms to feed telemetry into our platform and analytics systems.
• Implement comprehensive device security measures, including mutual TLS, certificate/key management, and secure onboarding processes.
• Create edge and cloud logic for command-and-control functionalities, remote configuration, and Over-The-Air (OTA) orchestration.
• Monitor connectivity health, establish observability and alerting systems, and actively work to reduce device downtime.
• Collaborate with embedded engineers on data contracts and with backend/platform teams on API development and storage solutions.
• Optimize cellular data usage, manage costs, and oversee SIM/connectivity management across the entire fleet.
