About the Role

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Public Relation Officer Mobility Specialist to join its team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for supporting government relations, immigration, labor, licensing, and regulatory services. The specialist ensures smooth operations and compliance for GE Vernova entities and employees within Saudi Arabia, coordinating with government authorities and internal stakeholders for timely and accurate execution of all government transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process immigration services including work permits, Iqama issuance and renewal, sponsorship transfers, job title changes, and various visa services.
  • Handle exit/re-entry visas, final exit procedures, dependent services, and passport updates.
  • Support business visa issuance, visit visas, and employee mobilization processes.
  • Assist employees with medical examinations, biometrics appointments, and other government requirements.
  • Support document attestations, certificates of origin, and official submissions to relevant authorities.
  • Perform other government-related tasks as needed and support operational improvements and assigned projects.

Government Portal Management

  • Utilize and maintain government portals such as Absher, Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI, MOFA, MISA, MOC, Municipality, SPL, and National Address for various transactions.
  • Support the renewal and maintenance of company licenses, including CR, MISA, Municipality, Civil Defense, and Chamber of Commerce, along with other required permits.

Compliance and Coordination

  • Maintain accurate employee records, visa tracking systems, and comprehensive documentation.
  • Coordinate effectively with HR, Legal, Finance, and Shared Services teams on all government-related activities.
  • Review and follow up on cases managed by third-party immigration service providers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Process government payments and support reconciliation efforts with the Finance and Treasury departments.
  • Ensure full compliance with Saudi labor laws, Saudization (Nitaqat) regulations, and internal company policies.
  • Track and resolve violations, fines, and government alerts received from platforms like Qiwa, Muqeem, and GOSI.
  • Support government inspections and audits, and respond promptly to official inquiries.

Required Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess the legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in public relations, government affairs, or a related field, with a focus on mobility and immigration services.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience working with multinational companies or multiple legal entities.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating with third-party immigration service providers.
