About the Maintenance and After Sales Engineer Role

PETRA Engineering Industries Co., a leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality commercial and industrial HVAC equipment since 1987, is seeking a Maintenance and After Sales Engineer. This full-time, on-site position is based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on providing essential support to customers utilizing Petra's HVAC systems. The role involves ensuring efficient and safe operation through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Responding to customer service requests in a timely manner.
• Diagnosing technical issues with HVAC equipment.
• Providing on-site technical support to customers.
• Coordinating with internal teams to resolve complex technical problems.
• Preparing detailed maintenance reports.
• Recommending preventive maintenance actions to customers.
• Supporting after-sales activities, including equipment commissioning.
• Training customers on the proper operation of their equipment.
• Identifying opportunities for service and upgrade sales.
• Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships through professional support and high service standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated skills in Sales Engineering and Sales, with the ability to identify service opportunities.
• Strong technical support capabilities, including troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC or similar mechanical/electrical systems.
• Experience in customer service, with a focus on responsiveness and professionalism.
• Hands-on experience in HVAC systems maintenance, installation, or service is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, service software, and standard office applications.
• Working knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple service requests and priorities effectively.
• Proficient communication skills for clear reporting, documentation, and collaboration.
• Ability to work on-site in Dammam and travel to customer locations as needed.
