About the Role and Company
Quest Search and Selection is partnering with a global leader in premium consumer technology to recruit a Field Services Engineer. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The client organization operates in over 150 countries, known for its innovative technology solutions and strong international presence, setting industry standards in performance, technology, and customer experience.
Role Purpose
The Field Services Engineer will be responsible for ensuring complete customer satisfaction through the installation, maintenance, and servicing of advanced fitness equipment. This role requires a technically proficient, customer-focused professional who will operate in a field-based service environment, delivering after-sales support and resolving technical issues efficiently while upholding high service performance standards. The successful candidate will act as a customer advocate, providing essential technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute service jobs in line with defined standard operating procedures.
- Deliver strong field performance against key service KPIs.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair technical equipment.
- Conduct effective root cause analysis to determine appropriate solutions.
- Manage and maintain accurate parts inventory.
- Educate customers on proper technical use and care of equipment.
- Accurately manage work orders and service reports.
- Provide structured technical feedback from the field to internal teams.
- Communicate estimated arrival times and manage customer expectations.
- Escalate complex issues when required.
- Ensure accurate service data reporting.
- Maintain company equipment and vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety standards and company guidelines.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar service engineering role.
- Diploma or Degree in Electronics & Communications or a related field.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
- Experience using mobile tools and service applications.
- Experience managing service orders and customer requests.
Essential Skills
- Strong mechanical and electronic engineering capabilities.
- Basic knowledge of IT networking (advantageous).
- Strong organizational and reporting skills.
- Clear communication skills and customer-facing experience.
- Team-oriented with a transparent and professional approach.
