About the Role

Jotun Middle East, India and Africa (MEIA) is seeking a Maintenance and Project Manager to lead and manage maintenance operations. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern Region, and plays a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, maintaining HSEQ standards, and optimizing maintenance costs across the organization.

Role Overview

The Maintenance and Project Manager will be responsible for enhancing maintenance developments in alignment with Jotun’s values and corporate objectives. This role ensures the optimal performance and integrity of assets while adhering to local, regional, and corporate guidelines. The position reports directly to the Operations Manager, contributing to the strategic operational goals of Jotun MEIA.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Maintenance team by providing coaching, guidance, and performance management to foster a competent, engaged, and high-performing workforce that meets current and future business needs.
• Manage and oversee all maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, asset integrity, optimal plant performance, and minimal unplanned downtime through effective preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards, legal requirements, and company policies, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, the Jotun Operations System (JOS), and the maintenance of critical HSE installations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by utilizing JOS tools, maintaining the Belt program and assessment requirements, and identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
• Manage maintenance resources and systems, including Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) administration, maintenance planning, spare parts inventory, budgets, service contracts, and contractor performance.
• Support capital projects and operational excellence initiatives through participation in management meetings, equipment selection, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and cross-functional improvement projects.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role must possess a strong background in maintenance and project management within an industrial environment. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required, demonstrating a proven ability to lead teams, manage complex maintenance programs, and drive operational improvements effectively.

Work Environment and Reporting

This is a full-time position located in Dammam, Eastern Region. The Maintenance and Project Manager will report directly to the Operations Manager, working within a structured operational framework to achieve company objectives.
