GE Vernova is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role is central to ensuring the efficient execution of production activities, focusing on safety, quality, and schedule adherence for heavy industrial equipment assembly. The Production Supervisor will guide a team of hourly technicians, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

Role Overview

The Production Supervisor serves as a key leader on the manufacturing floor, responsible for the high-performance execution of daily production activities. This role involves orchestrating the efforts of a diverse team to ensure all assembly operations meet stringent safety, quality, and schedule requirements. The incumbent will act as a technical authority, identifying process bottlenecks, championing Lean manufacturing methodologies, and driving Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to eliminate inefficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily production schedules to meet delivery, quality, and budget targets.
• Utilize manufacturing and assembly expertise to resolve shop floor bottlenecks and process deviations.
• Lead defect investigations, apply analytical skills to shop floor metrics, and implement permanent corrective actions (PCA).
• Drive Lean initiatives to improve yield, reduce waste, and lower inspection costs.
• Coach hourly technicians to foster technical excellence, accountability, and high performance within a diverse team.
• Assess situations to optimize labor and equipment distribution under schedule pressure.
• Act as the primary liaison between the shop floor and support functions, utilizing SAP/ERP software for production tracking and reporting.
• Champion a "Safety First" culture and ensure full compliance with EHS policies and risk assessments.
• Ensure fabrication and assembly strictly adhere to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records for product traceability and compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant production or manufacturing leadership role.
• Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Proficiency in Lean manufacturing methodologies and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Experience with SAP/ERP software for production tracking and reporting.
• Strong interpersonal skills for team coaching and mentorship.
• Commitment to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role involves leading daily shop floor operations within a heavy industrial equipment manufacturing environment.
