About the Project Manager Role

NEELAM AQUA & SPECIALITY CHEM, established in 1980, is seeking a Project Manager for its PP Woven Bags & FIBC Manufacturing Plant. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Dammam, Eastern Province. The company specializes in solutions for the fertilizer industry and cooling water treatment, with a broad reach across mining, drilling, automotive, and rubber sectors, offering over 200 specialty products.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Project Manager will oversee the complete project lifecycle for PP woven bags and FIBC manufacturing operations. This includes detailed planning, scheduling, and diligent monitoring of all production-related activities. A key aspect of this role involves close coordination with procurement, production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure the timely acquisition of materials, strict adherence to product specifications, and alignment with project timelines and budgetary constraints.

Key Duties and Tasks

  • Expediting critical supplies to maintain production flow.
  • Supervising inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Managing communication with vendors and customers.
  • Resolving operational issues to ensure consistent plant performance.
  • Optimizing manufacturing processes for efficiency.
  • Implementing and enforcing safety and quality standards.
  • Preparing and presenting regular project status reports to management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess demonstrated experience in project management within manufacturing or industrial plant settings. Strong skills in Project Management and Expediting are essential. Previous experience in an Expeditor role or similar expediting functions is required to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment. Knowledge of inspection processes and quality control practices, particularly related to packaging or industrial products, is necessary. Familiarity with Logistics Management, including transportation, warehousing, and shipment scheduling, is also important.

Beneficial Experience and Skills

  • Previous experience in PP woven bags, FIBC, packaging, or related manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency in basic office and project management software; familiarity with ERP or plant management systems is an advantage.
  • A commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement practices.
