About the Role

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Logistics Project Manager to join its team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is integral to supporting project operations and programs, with a focus on standardization, quality management, documentation, method creation and maintenance, and continuous process and tool improvement within the project management function.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Senior Logistics Project Manager significantly impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality, and on-time objectives. The position operates with moderate autonomy, requiring a high level of operational discernment to deliver expected results and adhere to established operational policy objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct or indirect leadership for all project operations, including oversight of activities utilizing centralized shared resources for client project execution and monitoring.
  • Apply specialized functional knowledge to influence strategy development within the area of responsibility, encompassing resource control and policy formulation.
  • Interpret internal and external business issues, recommending best practices to enhance products, processes, or services, and staying informed of relevant industry trends.
  • Demonstrate strong judgment in decision-making and managing complex tasks or problems across operations, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering domains.
  • Evaluate the quality of information provided, ask pertinent questions to stakeholders, and develop innovative solutions and recommendations that may extend beyond established parameters.
  • Engage internal and external resources outside the immediate function to support decision-making processes.
  • Lead functional teams or projects with reduced resource needs, risks, and/or complexity.
  • Communicate complex concepts effectively and influence colleagues' opinions on specific subjects, guiding others to consider issues from diverse perspectives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Advanced experience in the function and digital audio workstation.
  • Knowledge level equivalent to a Master's degree from an accredited university, or a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in a related field.
  • Typically requires 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
