Senior Manager / Governance & PMO Lead Telecom Transformation

About the Role

Auxo Talent is seeking an experienced Senior Manager / Governance & PMO Lead to manage the governance and program management function for a significant telecom transformation program in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is based in the Eastern region, specifically Dammam and Al Khobar. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience, preferably with a background in consulting.

Role Context

This is a senior, client-facing role focused on bringing structure, challenge, and strong governance to a complex, high-profile telecom program. The successful candidate will lead the overall Governance & PMO function, ensuring clear visibility of priorities, risks, dependencies, and key decisions across the transformation program.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Governance & PMO function across the transformation program.
• Manage and coach an experienced PMO/governance team covering planning, reporting, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Own executive governance forums, Steering Committee preparation, and senior management reporting.
• Consolidate program performance and provide clear visibility of priorities, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.
• Challenge workstream leads and ensure actions are followed through to resolution.
• Coordinate across multiple client teams, vendors, delivery partners, and service providers.
• Act as a senior point of contact for the client on overall program performance and governance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong experience leading Governance / PMO functions within large-scale transformation programs.
• Proven experience managing and developing an experienced PMO or program governance team.
• Minimum 5+ years of consulting experience.
• Strong exposure to senior and C-level stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams, vendors, and delivery partners in complex environments.
• Telecom industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Saudi-based or willing to travel to Saudi Arabia for the majority of the working week.

This is a full-time position based in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia, covering Dammam and Al Khobar. The role involves working within a complex program environment, coordinating with various client teams, vendors, and delivery partners.
