Senior Mechanic

About the Role

Core Arabia is seeking a Senior Mechanic to join their team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role involves the inspection, repair, and maintenance of customer equipment, focusing on diagnosing failures and ensuring timely service delivery. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate in a safe manner and ensure all repairs and maintenance works are carried out swiftly, diligently, and safely.
• Actively engage in a safe work environment and participate in the HSE culture, including training, safety observations, and daily safety meetings.
• Conduct daily inspections of equipment, maintain various shop tools, and report/schedule equipment requiring regular maintenance or repair.
• Prepare a list of required repairs for review by the Service & Repair Center Manager and execute approved repairs to the highest possible standard.
• Accurately diagnose equipment failure problems and initiate proper repair procedures.
• Dismantle and reassemble pumps, and perform repairs on heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
• Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
• Perform administrative duties to report work updates in line with applicable systems and reconcile Post Job Resources.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a mechanic role or similar field.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Proficiency in performing maintenance and repair tasks on various types of equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and commitment to a safe work environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern region, where the Senior Mechanic will work within a team dedicated to equipment service and repair.
