Site Supervisor

About the Role

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Site Supervisor to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves coordinating warehouse and ground operations to ensure smooth processes for material movement, storage, and inventory control. The supervisor will ensure operations meet cost, quality, customer, and market-specific requirements, aligning with business strategy and corporate guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse and manual handling plans and processes to ensure safe and efficient operations at company-owned or leased warehouses.
• Coach and guide the team in executing day-to-day tasks and activities to meet work schedules and targets.
• Monitor operations to ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are processed within service performance timings.
• Participate in planning and scheduling inventory, and oversee product ordering to meet organizational needs.
• Resolve conflicts and support coordination of delivery schedules with shippers and customers.
• Maintain up-to-date stock information, review daily material movement, and compare actual production schedules against inventory levels.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through daily/weekly inventory cycle counts.
• Perform inventory control, conduct stock turnover analyses, and manage material scheduling.
• Review inspections of incoming material for conformity with order specifications and defect identification.
• Execute safety/security and inventory control programs to ensure goods and equipment are safely operated, properly maintained, and stored.
• Review optimum utilization of warehouse facilities for storing and distributing materials, including raw materials, finished products, tools, and packaging.
• Highlight issues and opportunities, and implement practices for warehouse and manual handling to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar supervisory role within a supply chain environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, focusing on on-site coordination and supervision of warehouse and ground operations.
