About the Role

PepsiCo is seeking a SR. Route Salesman to join our team in the Eastern region, specifically in Dammam. This is a full-time position focused on driving sales volume and ensuring customer satisfaction within an assigned territory.

Role Overview

As a key member of the KSA sales team, the SR. Route Salesman is responsible for maximizing sales volume, minimizing product stales, achieving distribution targets, and implementing merchandising standards. This role also involves managing accounts receivable and maintaining high levels of customer service. The position requires adherence to operating procedures to ensure consistent standards across KSA and providing supervisors with market insights to identify sales opportunities. Continuous professional development through training is also a component of this role, including daily debriefings with a supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell the full range of PepsiCo products to an assigned customer list, meeting agreed-upon sales targets.
  • Maintain stales below the agreed target set by the supervisor.
  • Provide customers with approved service levels, adhering to call frequencies and daily route plans to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct daily and weekly vehicle checks as per operating procedures, ensuring the sales vehicle is clean and roadworthy, and reporting any defects promptly.
  • Supply ready-to-ship customer orders on time, including all necessary delivery arrangements.
  • Manage individual customer stock levels to agreed requirements to minimize out-of-stock situations.
  • Implement agreed in-store merchandising standards as communicated by the supervisor.
  • Report relevant competitor activity in the served area to the supervisor.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of all cheques, cash, and credit sales.
  • Maintain a neat and presentable personal appearance.
  • Adhere to high driving standards and all driving regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Sales and Account building.

Work Environment and Performance
