We are seeking a VAC & Applications Engineer to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia, for a full-time position.

Role Summary

The VAC & Applications Engineer will serve as the primary local technical resource for Valve Automation Center (VAC) activities within Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for product configuration, technical selections, customer submittals, engineering documentation, and project execution support. The engineer acts as a crucial technical liaison between customers, operations, sales, manufacturing, and Bray’s Global Applications Engineering Team, supporting complex applications and non-standard requirements while helping to establish VAC processes for the Saudi operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications, datasheets, and project requirements.
• Configure valve automation packages and perform technical product selections.
• Utilize approved engineering systems, tools, and resources for application reviews and technical evaluations.
• Support Configure-to-Order and Engineered-to-Order product requirements.
• Prepare and review customer submittals, drawings, datasheets, bills of materials, and supporting documentation.
• Provide technical support to customers, consultants, contractors, sales teams, and operations.
• Work closely with assembly technicians to implement engineering changes and resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate with Bray’s Global Applications Engineering Team on complex applications and non-standard requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in establishing VAC processes for the Saudi operation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in valve automation, controls, actuators, process automation, or applications engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing technical submittals and engineering documentation.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia.
• Background in oil & gas, petrochemical, power, water, desalination, or industrial process industries.
• Prior experience with valve automation organizations such as Rotork, Emerson, Flowserve/Limitorque, Ampo, Score, HSP, or similar companies.
• Experience supporting Configure-to-Order and Engineered-to-Order products.

Work Environment and Travel

This full-time position is based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Occasional travel within Saudi Arabia and the GCC region may be required for customer support, project coordination, training, and collaboration with Bray engineering teams.
