About the Opportunity

TalentHive is recruiting experienced Welders to join the maintenance and fabrication operations of a well-established Saudi organization. This full-time role is based in Dammam, Eastern Region, and involves working within an organization with a strong presence across construction, industrial services, heavy equipment, and infrastructure projects.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing welding, cutting, and metal fabrication activities. This position requires maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and operational efficiency while working alongside experienced maintenance and fabrication teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or SMAW (Stick) welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components.
• Carry out metal fabrication activities, including cutting, grinding, fitting, tack welding, and assembly.
• Read and interpret basic engineering drawings, welding specifications, and work instructions.
• Prepare welding surfaces, joints, materials, and equipment before starting work.
• Inspect completed welds for defects and carry out necessary corrections to meet quality standards.
• Safely operate welding machines, cutting equipment, grinders, and associated hand tools.
• Support Senior Welders and Fabrication Supervisors in completing assigned workshop and fabrication activities.
• Follow preventive equipment checks and report any defects or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain compliance with HSE requirements, including PPE, hot work permits, and fire safety procedures.
• Complete assigned work orders and maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in welding.
• Demonstrated ability to perform MIG, TIG, and/or SMAW (Stick) welding.
• Proficiency in metal fabrication activities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Work Environment and Development

This role offers practical exposure to equipment maintenance and metal fabrication activities within an established and expanding Saudi organization. The Welder will work alongside experienced technical professionals and supervisors, contributing to a team that values safety, quality, and workmanship.
