Overview of the Role

ABIS is seeking a Fresh Graduate Safety Engineer to join our team supporting Saudi Aramco - SMP projects in Dhahran. This full-time position is ideal for recent engineering graduates who possess a strong interest in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices within construction and industrial project environments. The role focuses on applying fundamental safety principles, ensuring compliance, and contributing to effective risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce established safety standards through coordination with project teams, contractors, and site supervisors.
• Contribute to the implementation of health, safety, and environmental practices on active construction sites.
• Participate in conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations.
• Support adherence to relevant safety regulations, industry codes, and company HSE policies.
• Assist in the identification of potential hazards and contribute to ongoing risk management efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduate with 0-1 years of professional experience.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong understanding of general workplace safety principles.
• Awareness of health, safety, and environmental practices specific to construction environments.
• Knowledge of processes for conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations.
• Understanding of applicable safety regulations, industry codes, and company HSE policies.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of project management principles.
• NEBOSH certification is highly preferred.
