About the Role

Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) is seeking a Health Safety & Environment Graduate to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for a recent graduate looking to develop practical experience within the Health, Safety, Environment & Wellbeing (HSEW) function on major construction projects.

Role Purpose and Context

The successful candidate will support the HSEW function across significant construction projects, specifically a major Construction Giga-Project. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in HSE governance, reporting, site assurance, and safety culture initiatives, working alongside experienced HSE professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of HSEW frameworks, procedures, and standards.
• Participate in HSE training programs, site inductions, and familiarization visits.
• Develop an understanding of project scopes, key risks, and HSE assurance requirements.
• Assist with preparing HSE reports, dashboards, presentations, performance statistics, and maintaining HSE records.
• Support document control, training records, induction logs, action trackers, audits, inspections, and assurance documentation.
• Coordinate HSE inductions, maintain attendance records, and support onboarding activities for employees and project stakeholders.
• Support safety leadership initiatives, site safety walks, engagement activities, and awareness campaigns.
• Participate in site inspections, project meetings, and safety forums alongside HSE teams.
• Assist in identifying unsafe conditions, reporting observations, tracking corrective actions, and supporting incident investigations.
• Coordinate with clients, project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to support HSE initiatives and promote a positive safety culture.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of experience, indicating this role is suitable for recent graduates or individuals early in their career. A relevant academic background in Health, Safety, and Environment or a related field is expected.

Work Location

This full-time position will be based at the Qiddiya Site Office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
