Join Air Products as a Senior Project Accountant!
At Air Products, our mission is to tackle the world's most pressing energy and environmental sustainability challenges. As a Senior Project Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting of projects, enabling effective budget management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Accounting & Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements that comply with IFRS and SOCPA guidelines. Conduct general ledger reviews, handle journal entries, and lead month-end and year-end closing cycles.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Oversee Zakat, corporate income tax, and VAT compliance in sync with ZATCA regulations, ensuring all documentation is maintained for inspections.
  • E-Invoicing & Digital Compliance: Ensure alignment with ZATCA e-invoicing standards and validate real-time invoice transmissions.
  • Budgeting & Analysis: Engage in budget preparation, variance analysis, and provide impactful financial insights to management.
  • Internal Controls & Audit: Maintain controls to safeguard company assets and support audits while identifying potential process improvements.
  • Operational Support: Collaborate with various teams to validate financial data, ensuring the correct accounting treatment in accordance with Saudi Labor Law and IFRS.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise junior accountants and review their work for accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in accounting or financial control.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, and strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, detail-oriented, and clear communicator.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
