About BAE Systems Saudi Arabia

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia serves as the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under Government-to-Government arrangements. The company is responsible for providing equipment, support, and training to Saudi Arabia, specifically focusing on the maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and the training of RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel in the safe use of aircraft, equipment, and weapons.

The Role: Maintenance Operation Control Supervisor

We are seeking a Maintenance Operation Control Supervisor to join our team in Dhahran. This full-time position operates within a highly challenging and rewarding environment, playing a key role in generating aircraft for the RSAF customer. The role is high-profile, requiring daily interaction with various departments and the RSAF, and involves coordinating multiple trades to address engineering issues and accurately report aircraft status.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple trades of maintenance personnel to rectify aircraft issues efficiently.
  • Maintain constant communication with the RSAF Maintenance Operation Control Centre to gather current information on the RSAF Tornado fleet.
  • Determine the validity of RSAF Line Technical Support requests in accordance with the SFA Statement of Work and local Concept of Operations.
  • Produce daily reports on the RSAF Tornado fleet, detailing maintenance classifications such as Non-Mission Critical Supply, Non-Mission Critical Maintenance, Fully Mission Capable, and Non-Possessed.
  • Plan shift patterns to ensure effective manpower utilisation and adequate staffing, ensuring the Maintenance Operation Control Centre provides 24-hour service per working day.
  • Attend daily morning meetings, briefing RSAF members and collecting information on unserviceable aircraft.
  • Coordinate on behalf of the Tornado Maintenance Servicing Centre for the preparation, collection, and delivery of servicing aircraft, provision of aircraft refuelling/defueling, and emergency services cover for engine ground runs.

Required Experience

  • Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant field.

The supervisor will be at the forefront of coordinating complex engineering solutions and ensuring transparent communication between BAE Systems and the RSAF, directly contributing to aircraft readiness and mission capability.
