About the Mechanical Project Engineer Role
NADEC Foods is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team in Ha'il. This full-time position involves leading the design, execution, and management of mechanical systems within various projects. The role requires a proactive approach to ensure systems meet performance, safety, and integration standards.
Core Responsibilities
The Mechanical Project Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive management of mechanical systems throughout project lifecycles. This includes overseeing the design and review processes to ensure adherence to all relevant codes and standards. A key aspect of the role involves supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of critical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and cooling solutions. The engineer will also perform necessary load calculations and select appropriate mechanical equipment to optimize system performance. Furthermore, the role requires the preparation of detailed technical reports and drawings, ensuring all project documentation is compliant.
Key Project Engineering Duties
- Lead the design and execution of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, RO, ammonia, and drainage.
- Ensure all mechanical systems comply with established safety standards and project specifications.
- Supervise and manage installation, testing, and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.
- Drive system performance and energy efficiency across all project phases.
- Facilitate the seamless integration of mechanical systems within broader project frameworks.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this position must possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. HVAC or safety certifications are preferred. The role requires 2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a preference for experience within the FMCG, logistics, or industrial facilities sectors. Strong technical proficiency is essential.
Essential Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in HVAC design principles and plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of ammonia cooling and RO systems.
- Experience with design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide technical support.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time position based in Hail, Saudi Arabia. The role is integral to project execution within the region.
