Agriculture Inspector

About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh is seeking an experienced Agriculture Inspector to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role requires a strong engineering background and over 10 years of experience in agricultural inspection. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of agricultural systems, irrigation networks, and landscape works according to established engineering standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections of agricultural and landscaping works, including irrigation, drainage, and soil systems.
• Verify that construction and maintenance activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Review and interpret engineering plans related to agricultural systems and provide technical feedback when needed.
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship on-site and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions; prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and maintenance teams to schedule inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Support the implementation of sustainable agricultural practices and water-efficient irrigation systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results, photographs, and follow-up actions.
• Stay informed about new agricultural technologies, local regulations, and engineering best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• A strong engineering background is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience as an Agriculture Inspector or in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to inspect and evaluate agricultural systems, irrigation networks, and landscape works.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering plans and specifications.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah. The role involves conducting field inspections and coordinating with various stakeholders on-site to ensure project compliance and quality.
