Area Sales Manager

About the Role

Saudi Radwa Food Co. Ltd. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time role is responsible for achieving sales and distribution targets within an assigned area by leading a field sales team, building strong customer relationships, and executing commercial strategies to drive market share and revenue growth. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the area's sales plan in alignment with the company's commercial objectives.
• Manage and supervise the field team, including Supervisors, Van Salesmen, and Merchandisers, by assigning targets and monitoring performance.
• Plan and manage Van Sales routes and schedules to ensure optimal market coverage and efficient distribution.
• Monitor Van Salesmen's daily activities, including stock loading/reconciliation, cash collection, and adherence to company policies.
• Oversee Merchandisers' work to ensure proper product availability, visibility, shelf placement, and merchandising standards across all outlets.
• Guide and evaluate Supervisors in managing their teams and achieving area targets.
• Achieve the area's sales and distribution targets (numeric and weighted distribution).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
• Analyze sales data and market performance in the area, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Track competitor activities and market changes, and recommend appropriate action plans.
• Manage the area's operating budget and control expenses in line with the approved plan.
• Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure product availability and execution of promotional campaigns.
• Train, coach, and develop the field team (Supervisors, Van Salesmen, Merchandisers) to enhance performance and achieve targets.
• Follow up on collections from customers and distributors, ensuring compliance with agreed credit terms.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the food industry.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales and distribution targets.
• Experience in managing and developing field sales teams.
