Automotive Maintenance Manager

About the Role

Filter for car services is seeking an Automotive Maintenance Manager to oversee and manage the operations of its automotive maintenance center in Jeddah. This full-time role involves supervising daily workflow and ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise technicians, assign work orders, and monitor productivity levels.
• Review and diagnose vehicle faults, ensuring diagnostic accuracy before repairs commence.
• Monitor the quality of maintenance work and conduct final inspections prior to vehicle delivery.
• Review quotations and ensure customer approval is obtained for all required work before execution.
• Follow up on repeat repairs and technical complaints, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Control spare parts consumption, aiming to minimize waste and technical errors.
• Monitor the performance and discipline of the technical team and support staff development initiatives.
• Prepare and monitor operational reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Work continuously to improve the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the maintenance center.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Automotive Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive maintenance, with 5-10 years of overall experience, preferably including previous supervisory or managerial roles.
• Strong experience in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in vehicles.
• Proven experience in managing automotive maintenance centers or workshops.
