About the Role

Panda Retail Company – Savola Group is seeking a Commercial Excellence Assistant Manager to join their team in Jeddah. This role is focused on supporting the enhancement of commercial performance through data analysis, framework implementation, and KPI monitoring. The Commercial Excellence Assistant Manager will contribute to consistent commercial execution and informed decision-making across the Commercial function.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to support the improvement of commercial performance. This involves analyzing commercial performance data, assisting with the implementation of commercial excellence frameworks, and overseeing KPIs and performance reporting. The role requires coordination of cross-functional activities, support for process optimization initiatives, and maintaining data accuracy and analytical discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze commercial performance data across various categories, channels, and initiatives to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement that support decision-making.
• Support the implementation of commercial excellence frameworks by applying established standards, guidelines, and methodologies to ensure consistent execution across commercial teams.
• Monitor commercial KPIs and dashboards, and prepare regular performance reports to highlight progress, identify gaps, and assess risks against set targets.
• Coordinate cross-functional improvement activities with Category Management, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to support commercial effectiveness initiatives.
• Prepare analytical insights and recommendations for review by senior stakeholders to facilitate performance discussions and planning for improvements.
• Support commercial process optimization initiatives by documenting current processes, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing actionable improvements.
• Assist with change implementation activities related to commercial excellence initiatives to ensure smooth adoption and stakeholder alignment.
• Conduct benchmarking and market analysis to compare internal performance against industry practices and identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Maintain data accuracy and reporting discipline across commercial performance tools and analyses to ensure the reliability of insights.
