Commercial Excellence Assistant Manager

About the Role

Panda Retail Company – Savola Group is seeking a Commercial Excellence Assistant Manager to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role supports the improvement of commercial performance by analyzing data, implementing commercial excellence frameworks, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs). The position involves coordinating cross-functional activities and supporting process optimization to ensure consistent commercial execution and informed decision-making within the Commercial function.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to enhance commercial performance through rigorous data analysis, the application of established commercial excellence standards, and consistent performance monitoring. The Assistant Manager will play a key role in maintaining data accuracy and analytical discipline, which are crucial for effective commercial operations and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze commercial performance data across various categories, channels, and initiatives to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the implementation of commercial excellence frameworks by applying defined standards, guidelines, and methodologies across commercial teams.
• Monitor commercial KPIs and dashboards, preparing regular performance reports to highlight progress, identify gaps, and assess risks against targets.
• Coordinate cross-functional improvement activities with departments such as Category Management, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to support commercial effectiveness initiatives.
• Prepare analytical insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders to facilitate performance discussions and improvement planning.
• Support commercial process optimization initiatives by documenting current processes, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing actionable improvements.
• Assist with change implementation activities related to commercial excellence initiatives to ensure smooth adoption and stakeholder alignment.
• Conduct benchmarking and market analysis to compare internal performance with industry practices and identify areas for enhancement.
• Maintain data accuracy and reporting discipline across commercial performance tools and analyses to ensure reliable insights.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience is required for this position.

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, within the Panda Retail Company – Savola Group. The role involves working collaboratively across various functions to drive commercial effectiveness.
