About The Ritz-Carlton and the Role
The Ritz-Carlton is seeking a dedicated Credit Manager (Saudi National) to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time role is central to the efficient management of accounts receivables, ensuring the accuracy and timely dispersion of invoices. The Credit Manager is responsible for actively following up on delinquent accounts and making informed decisions regarding credit authorization for incoming customers.
Core Responsibilities
- Generate and provide accurate and timely results through reports and presentations.
- Compile, code, categorize, calculate, tabulate, audit, and verify information or data.
- Complete accounts receivable period-end closing functions and procedures, including credit and period-end reporting.
- Monitor receivables for timely collections and manage appropriate collection correspondence.
- Ensure property billings are sent error-free and in a timely manner.
Financial Management and Compliance
- Uphold the policies and procedures outlined in the credit policy.
- Submit reports in a timely manner, ensuring all delivery deadlines are met.
- Ensure profits and losses are documented accurately.
- Monitor all applicable taxes, ensuring they are current, collected, and/or accrued.
- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work, achieving and exceeding performance, budget, and team goals.
Technical Expertise and Collaboration
- Demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes, staying up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to the job.
- Utilize computers and computer systems (hardware and software) for programming, software writing, function setup, data entry, and information processing.
- Use relevant information and individual judgment to determine compliance with laws, regulations, or standards.
- Interact with sales and catering staff to facilitate timely credit decisions for incoming customers.
- Provide information to supervisors and co-workers via telephone, written form, e-mail, or in person.
- Provide direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures, and the efficient control and utilization of financial resources.
- Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solutions and solve problems.
- Inform and/or update executives, peers, and subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.
- Maintain positive working relations with customers and department managers.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Must be a Saudi National.
