Customer Development Manager Convenience

About the Role

Mars is seeking a Customer Development Manager Convenience to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time position is responsible for driving profitable sales growth for Mars' business customers within the traditional trade sector. The role focuses on maintaining strong customer relationships and executing customer plans effectively, with an emphasis on revenue, growth, profit, product assortment, shelving, merchandising, pricing, promotions, and seasonal merchandising.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions that align with customer objectives, category leadership goals, and company profitability targets, including sales growth for seasonal placements, shelving, merchandising, and pricing.
• Influence customers to adopt proposed solutions through fact-based presentations that demonstrate mutual benefits for both the customer and Mars.
• Ensure timely and effective execution of new product launches to maximize customer impact.
• Execute all agreed-upon customer solutions with accurate and timely forecasting, coupled with detailed follow-through.
• Manage customer trade funds in compliance with internal and external requirements, continuously seeking to improve spending effectiveness.
• Provide customers with relevant category information and offer recommendations for category growth, incorporating customer feedback and potential solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree required; a focus in Business Administration is preferred.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing within the FMCG / CPG industries.
• Prior experience in Retail Account Management is essential.
• Fluent understanding of forecasting, Nielsen data, and trade management systems.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.
