About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking an EBC Group Conference & Events Sales Executive to join their team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and focuses on maximizing revenue through sales techniques while maintaining guest loyalty. The role involves managing guest inquiries, processing reservations, and supporting the Sales & Marketing department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact appropriate departments (*, Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
  • Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue, including up-selling, while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott.
  • Determine and provide complimentaries to guests as gifts for their patronage (*, rewards points, show tickets, gift certificates).
  • Promote awareness of the brand image internally and externally.
  • Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points.
  • Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
  • Enter Marriott Rewards information into appropriate software when taking guest reservations.
  • Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
  • Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (*, filing, sending emails, typing, faxing).

Team Leadership and Support

  • Assist management in training and motivating employees, serving as a role model.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting the team to achieve common goals.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Monitor the performance of others to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Operational Compliance and Guest Service

  • Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs, and thanking them with genuine appreciation.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately and completely, and answering telephones using appropriate etiquette.

Physical Requirements and Additional Duties

  • Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a related field. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues. This full-time position is based in Makkah, with potential work in Jeddah.
