About the Opportunity

COREcruitment is seeking an Executive Pastry Chef to join an expanding hospitality group. Based in Jeddah, this full-time role reports directly to the Group Culinary Director. The position involves providing strategic pastry leadership across a growing portfolio of restaurants and hotels throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview

This is a key leadership position for a pastry professional focused on team development, innovation, operational standardization, and the delivery of world-class pastry concepts across multiple brands. The Executive Pastry Chef will contribute significantly to the group's overall culinary offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for all pastry and bakery operations across the Group's restaurant and hotel portfolio.
  • Develop innovative dessert, bakery, and pastry concepts aligned with each brand's identity and guest experience.
  • Standardise recipes, presentation standards, and production procedures across all locations.
  • Partner with the Culinary Director and Executive Chefs to elevate the Group's overall culinary offering.
  • Lead new menu development, seasonal promotions, and product innovation.
  • Support pre-opening projects, restaurant launches, and refurbishment programmes across the Kingdom.
  • Drive food cost management, purchasing efficiencies, waste reduction, and operational profitability.
  • Ensure all pastry operations comply with HACCP, food safety, and company quality standards.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop pastry teams, including creating structured training and succession programmes.
  • Identify emerging industry trends, ingredients, and techniques to maintain market leadership.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef within reputable hospitality groups.
  • Experience supporting multiple properties or brands.
  • Previous Middle Eastern experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of international cuisine with the ability to adapt menus to local market preferences.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience supporting pre-openings and business expansion.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Work Environment and Compensation

This full-time position requires regular travel across Saudi Arabia to support existing operations, new openings, and culinary development initiatives. The compensation for this role is SAR 20,000 all-inclusive.
