Job Description: Costing and Financial Specialist - Restaurant Sector Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Financial Specialist with experience ranging from 2 to 5 years in the restaurant sector, capable of managing financial analysis, monitoring costs, preparing reports, and controlling cash flows to ensure the correctness of the company's operational and financial decisions. Tasks and Responsibilities - Preparing and analyzing cost reports related to raw materials, production, and waste (Food Cost & Waste Analysis). - Monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly cash flows to ensure liquidity. - Preparing periodic financial reports that include profitability, expenses, sales, and future forecasts. - Analyzing the cost of each dish/meal based on recipes, labor, and operating expenses. - Monitoring purchasing and inventory processes and ensuring they match the specified budget. - Preparing variance reports between actual costs and planned costs. - Providing clear recommendations to management to improve efficiency and reduce costs. - Collaborating with operational departments (kitchen – supply – stores) to enhance the quality of financial data. - Managing sales data from POS systems in terms of financial data and linking it to reports. - Supervising the monthly financial closing operations (Month-End Closing). Job Requirements - Experience ranging from 2 to 5 years in finance within the restaurant sector or F&B. - Strong understanding of Food Costing, Menu Engineering, Operational Cost Analysis. - High proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query). - Ability to work on accounting systems and POS Systems. - Strong analytical skills and high accuracy in numbers. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Personal Attributes - High discipline and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills. - Ability to provide practical and quick solutions. - Operational finance mindset.

  • Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
