Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) is Indonesia’s largest Islamic bank, committed to delivering impactful financial solutions grounded in Islamic ethical principles. As BSI expands its global footprint, it is establishing an overseas branch in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

The Role: Head of Finance, Jeddah

BSI is seeking a Head of Finance for its Overseas Branch in Jeddah, KSA. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, financial control, taxation compliance, and financial reporting for the branch. The Head of Finance ensures accurate financial records, adherence to regulatory requirements, timely reporting, effective budget monitoring, and robust internal controls to support business objectives and sound decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement operational accounting activities at the BSI Overseas Branch - KSA.
  • Control accounting records for all transaction processes within the BSI Overseas Branch - KSA.
  • Fulfill all tax rights and obligations for the BSI Overseas Branch - KSA.
  • Monitor and control budget costs, including both CAPEX and OPEX, for the BSI Overseas Branch - KSA.
  • Compile and report tax financial statements for the BSI Overseas Branch - KSA to internal and external parties.
  • Develop and evaluate partnerships to enhance finance activities at the BSI Overseas Branch - KSA, assessing their effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with the Corporate Finance & Accounting Group at the central office for the implementation of corporate finance and accounting activities.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Head of Finance position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a related field. A strong background in financial control, tax compliance, and reporting within a financial institution is essential for this role.
