About the ICQA Supervisor Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking a full-time ICQA Supervisor to join its team in Jeddah. This role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on operational oversight and fostering a productive work environment within Inbound or Outbound FC operations. The Supervisor is responsible for strategic planning, resource management, and continuous monitoring to ensure departmental efficiency and safety.

Core Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities to ensure overall safety, quality, performance, and positive member experience in FC operations.
  • Set clear departmental requirements and expectations, fostering an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.
  • Understand and ensure adherence to safety procedures, safe working practices, and timely documentation of accidents/incidents.
  • Prioritize tasks appropriately to meet deadlines.
  • Exhibit professional behavior while effectively coping with ambiguity and change.
  • Drive results and proactively approach operational obstacles.
  • Ensure company policies are communicated and enforced consistently.

Operational Leadership and Development

  • Source and nurture ideas, integrating them into improvement plans.
  • Take proactive steps to share best practices across all departments, shifts, and the entire organization.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Facilities, Safety, and IT to secure support and resources for projects and initiatives.
  • Track production metrics and utilize data to develop strategies for continuous improvement, reporting to management.
  • Assist with the establishment of long-term operational strategic plans.
  • Mentor, provide training, and development to optimize performance, creating organizational depth and individual growth.
  • Recognize top performance, and provide coaching and progressive discipline for poor performance.
  • Propose and implement improvements in equipment and processing methods.
  • Conduct daily and weekly timecard reviews to ensure pay accuracy.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as required.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.

Work Environment and Schedule Expectations

This role requires flexibility to work a variety of hours as business demands, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. This includes an expectation to arrive at least 30 minutes early and remain at least 30 minutes at the end of the shift to complete pass-downs, reports, and timecard reviews. The ability to rotate to other shifts or departments as needed is also required.
