About the Role

Salt is seeking an experienced Informatica Data Lakehouse Platform Administrator & Support Engineer for a contract position in Jeddah, Makkah. This hands-on role involves comprehensive support for a modern Data Warehouse and Cloudera Data Lakehouse ecosystem, with a focus on Informatica BDM/DEI, PowerExchange CDC, Axon, Spark, and Oracle technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Informatica BDM / DEI environments, services, and configurations.
• Monitor and support ETL workflows, mappings, and batch data pipelines.
• Troubleshoot failures, reruns, performance issues, and SLA-related incidents.
• Support Informatica PowerExchange / CDC pipelines, including capture, apply, latency, and data consistency issues.
• Administer and support Informatica Axon, including metadata, data lineage, and business glossary.
• Support Spark-based ETL processing and troubleshoot runtime, memory, and performance issues.
• Monitor Informatica services and runtime environments, including Tomcat and Spark.
• Support Oracle metadata repositories, including connectivity, performance, storage, backup, and maintenance.
• Provide L1/L2 production support, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
• Support deployments, releases, production cutovers, and environment maintenance.
• Contribute to platform upgrades, patching, and ongoing optimisation.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, monitoring dashboards, and operational documentation.
• Automate routine monitoring, alerting, and administration activities where possible.
• Participate in 24/7 support, on-call, and shift-based operations.

Candidate Profile

• 5-8 years of experience working with Informatica platforms in administration, engineering, or production support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica BDM / DEI.
• Strong experience with Informatica PowerExchange and CDC.
• Experience supporting Informatica Axon and data governance/metadata environments.
• Good understanding of Spark-based ETL processing.
• Experience working with Cloudera / Data Lakehouse environments.
• Strong Oracle database and Informatica repository knowledge.
• Proven experience troubleshooting production data platforms and resolving performance issues.
• Experience working within SLA-driven, 24/7 production environments.
• Strong understanding of incident management, root-cause analysis (RCA), deployments, and change management.

Work Context

This is a contract position based in Jeddah, Makkah, operating within a large-scale enterprise data environment in Saudi Arabia. The role requires active participation in 24/7 support, on-call rotations, and shift-based operations to ensure continuous platform availability and performance.
