PL Territory Lead West

About the Role

HungerStation is seeking a PL Territory Lead West to join their team in the Makkah region, covering Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role involves leading and managing third-party logistics (3PL) operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships within the designated territory. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire new 3PL companies to meet business demands and monitor their KPIs and performance.
• Provide operational support to 3PL companies, addressing issues and obstacles, and manage 3PL invoices and payment releases.
• Drive efficient operations and service excellence, balancing supply and demand, and analyze future needs to activate requirements proactively.
• Optimize the Service Level Agreement (SLA) process for 3PL companies and maintain strong working relationships with external suppliers.
• Ensure stakeholder readiness for changes through training, workshops, and communications, minimizing impact on morale and culture.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a representative for local and international concerns.
• Lead and guide project management teams in planning and organizing divisional and organizational projects, ensuring completion within defined parameters (cost, timelines, scope, quality).
• Lead growth initiatives and projects, aligning corporate departments for seamless execution.
• Ensure documentation and implementation of policies, procedures, and processes for efficiency and compliance with the Code of Conduct.
• Participate in the division's budgeting cycle, ensure effective utilization of the department's budget, and report on progress.
• Participate in identifying and recruiting key talents, manage and guide direct reports, set performance objectives, and provide regular feedback.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Proven ability to manage 3PL operations and monitor performance metrics.
• Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, execution, and control.
• Familiarity with governance, compliance, and budget management.
• Experience in people management, including talent identification, guidance, and performance evaluation.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, specifically covering the cities of Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves working within a dynamic environment focused on logistics and operational excellence.

Stakeholder Relations and Governance

The role requires establishing and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. It also involves ensuring strict adherence to all relevant policies, procedures, and processes to achieve operational excellence and compliance with the Code of Conduct, thereby maintaining acceptable risk and ethical standards.

Leadership and Team Management

The PL Territory Lead West will be responsible for leading and guiding project management teams, directing project cycles to meet quality standards, and fostering a high-performance working environment. This includes participating in talent acquisition and providing ongoing support and feedback to direct reports.
