Power BI Developer

About the Role

KTek Resourcing is seeking a Power BI Developer to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on supporting Power BI solutions, with a strong emphasis on data integration, model design, dashboard development, and ongoing maintenance. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Power BI Developer will be responsible for integrating various data sources, designing robust data models, and developing interactive dashboards to meet reporting and analytical requirements. This position involves ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and security for different user groups within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate SMAX data sources, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Requests, Assets, CMDB, and Availability, with Power BI.
• Design and configure data models to effectively support reporting and analytics needs.
• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards for key ITSM processes, covering metrics such as Incident Management (volume, SLA compliance, resolution trends), Problem Management (recurring issues, root cause analysis), Change Management (success rate, approvals, backlogs), Service Request fulfillment and SLA tracking, Asset and configuration visibility, and Availability and continuity metrics.
• Configure filters, drill-downs, and interactive visualizations tailored for various user roles, including IT managers, service desk personnel, and executives.
• Set up scheduled data refreshes and automate report distribution processes.
• Configure role-based access controls for dashboards and reports to ensure secure data visibility.
• Provide support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation, and production go-live activities.
• Prepare documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer regarding dashboard usage, maintenance, and reporting best practices.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in Power BI development and related data analytics roles.
• Demonstrated experience with data integration, model design, and dashboard development.
• Proficiency in configuring interactive visualizations and access controls.
