Projects Manager Restaurants

About the Role

Premium Food Company is seeking a Projects Manager Restaurants to oversee restaurant construction and fit-out projects. This full-time role is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves managing projects from initial concept design through to final handover, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines. The Projects Manager will also support company expansion initiatives and coordinate facilities and maintenance activities to ensure operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple restaurant projects, overseeing design, tendering processes, construction, and handover to Operations.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress while managing changes to scope, cost, and timelines.
• Review design packages, tender documents, cost estimates, and contractor bids to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, kitchen equipment suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality, compliance with regulations, and alignment with approved designs and specifications.
• Manage procurement activities, review contracts, and monitor the performance of suppliers and contractors.
• Identify potential project risks, resolve issues promptly, and escalate any budget, schedule, or specification discrepancies to management.
• Standardize finishing materials and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) specifications to enhance durability and reduce long-term maintenance costs.
• Coordinate restaurant facilities maintenance, including preventive maintenance schedules, necessary repairs, contractor activities, and cost control measures.
• Support new location assessments, lease reviews, and strategic expansion planning for the company.
• Ensure the completion of snagging, testing, commissioning, and all required handover documentation.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, specifically within restaurant construction and fit-out projects. A proven track record of managing complex projects from concept to completion is essential.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active involvement in managing multiple projects across various sites within the region.
