About the Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Senior Registrar Endocrinology to join their team. This full-time position is based in the Makkah region, with opportunities in both Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves providing specialized medical care for endocrine disorders, focusing on patient outcomes and efficient healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive medical assessments, including detailed patient histories, physical examinations, and the ordering and interpretation of specialized diagnostic tests for endocrine disorders.
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of endocrine conditions, such as diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, and reproductive hormone disorders.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, incorporating evidence-based medicine, patient preferences, and individualized endocrine care.
  • Monitor and manage chronic endocrine conditions, providing ongoing care, medication management, and lifestyle interventions to optimize patient health.
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding endocrine disorders, lifestyle modifications, medication management, and self-care strategies.
  • Utilize both in-person and telemedicine platforms for consultations, patient progress monitoring, and virtual follow-up care when appropriate.
  • Practice population health management by identifying and addressing endocrine health issues at a population level, implementing preventive measures, and promoting health awareness.
  • Embrace value-based care principles, focusing on optimizing patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs through care coordination, preventive measures, and efficient resource utilization.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in endocrinology, including new treatment modalities, guidelines, population health management strategies, and value-based care models.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for patients, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and clinical audits to enhance patient care and outcomes in the field of endocrinology.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in endocrinology. A strong background in diagnosing, managing, and treating a diverse range of endocrine conditions is essential.
