Senior Sales Engineer (Packaging Machinery)

About the Role

Jobskey Search and Selection is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer (Packaging Machinery) to support business expansion in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, and focuses on developing new business opportunities and client relationships within the industrial food processing and packaging machinery sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the food manufacturing and industrial sectors.
• Promote and sell industrial food processing and packaging machinery to potential and existing customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, including factory owners, production managers, engineering teams, and procurement professionals.
• Conduct client visits, understand technical requirements, and recommend suitable machinery and solutions.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and sales presentations.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and customer meetings to negotiations and order closure.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve assigned sales targets.
• Coordinate with technical, engineering, and service teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
• Represent the company professionally at client meetings, industry exhibitions, and relevant business events.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 5-10 years of proven experience in B2B technical sales, preferably in industrial equipment, food processing machinery, packaging machinery, or factory automation.
• Strong understanding of technical sales processes and industrial customer requirements.
• Experience in business development, lead generation, client relationship management, and sales negotiations.
• Ability to understand technical specifications and translate customer requirements into suitable solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with a target-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently and travel for client visits when required.
• Candidates based in Jeddah or willing to relocate will be considered.
