The Role: Service Associate, Service Center
The Service Associate, Service Center is a full-time position responsible for managing all incoming calls to the Service Centre. This role ensures that guest and external requests are promptly addressed and accurately channeled to the appropriate departments within the hotel. The Service Associate plays a crucial part in maintaining high standards of communication and guest satisfaction at Shangri-La Jeddah.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming calls to the Service Centre promptly and professionally.
- Record and channel guest requests to the appropriate departments.
- Perform follow-up calls to guests as required to ensure service or facility defects have been rectified to their satisfaction.
- Handle all calls from guests and external parties with care, adhering to hotel and Shangri-La policies and procedures.
- Accurately record all requests for wake-up calls and ensure their correct handling.
- Ensure correct transmission and receipt of facsimile.
- Make operator-assisted calls as needed.
- Record guest messages accurately.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of operational systems used in a Telephone / Service Centre, including PABX, Call Centre System, and Call Accounting Software.
- Familiarity with Shangri-La’s standard operating policies and procedures relevant to the Service Centre.
- Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and the ability to handle them effectively.
Experience Requirements
Candidates for this full-time Service Associate position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. This role is suitable for individuals seeking to develop their career in hotel service operations within a luxury environment.
